Feline Urgent Rescue of WNC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abused, abandoned and neglected cats in Western North Carolina. In the spirit of transparency, FUR publicly shares the following financial information.
2026 Budget
Each year, FUR’s goal is to operate with a balanced budget. Said simply, we aim to raise enough funds to offset that year’s expenses. If our revenue exceeds our expenses, the surplus is saved and/or invested to help ensure the long-term viability of our organization. For 2026, FUR’s operating budget is $316,000.
